Project: Environmental Data Management Systems Development
Client:    Medical device company

E5, Inc. developed an Intranet-based environmental management platform for a billion dollar public company, and leading manufacturer of innovative medical devices.  Client operates 15 manufacturing facilities around the world, and its products are sold in more than 120 countries.  Client constructed a new manufacturing facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, and required the development of a custom facility-wide environmental management system to handle hazardous waste, air pollution, hazardous materials and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).   E5, Inc. designed, constructed and implemented an Intranet-enabled database application, which integrated the functions and operations of various facility departments and personnel.  Employees accessed electronic MSDS from workstations, input environmental information, managed material inventories, created reports and prepared regulatory records.
